Every experience at Top Photography leaves behind something more than images: a new way to observe, learn, and connect with the world through photography.

Photography is a passion that has always been in my life, and especially in recent years, I decided to embrace it as more than just a hobby; an activity that gives me the opportunity to meet interesting people, visit incredible places, and also experience moments of deep reflection and personal relaxation. I had the good fortune of finding Top Mexico in April 2021 and participating in the Biosphere workshop in Tehuacán, Puebla. I then participated in other workshops, up to the last one which was the fascinating and incredible experience in Namibia, Africa. Each and every one of these workshops has been really cool, but above all, the great work done by the 'misses' @gabyrocha6 @gabrielagonzalezvazquez and @mariana_rodba is what truly makes these workshops very special. Their professionalism, of course, but much more their human warmth and love for photography are simply contagious elements that help you improve your technique and enjoy every photo you take. I love them very much and hope to continue enjoying their workshops in 2023... Congratulations Top Mexico.

For 3 and a half days we enjoyed beautiful places, incredible company, delicious food, and above all, teachers who were super attentive to the details. The organization from the airport departure to the return is excellent. Taking care of a diverse group of all photography knowledge levels, with equipment from different brands, as well as having the time and patience to teach—and all with a smile—is not easy, but with Top Mexico, it feels like it is.

How to begin... let's just say that from workshop No. 1 to shoot the Milky Way on the slopes of Popocatépetl, we became an incredible family, to which over time, after more than 2 years and 25 workshops (in my case), extraordinary photographers have joined who have helped me grow and overcome things like the pandemic lockdown. We all share the same passion and that is what makes the trips magical. A community has formed where everyone participates and looks out for how to help their neighbor get a better photo. We don't just have one Gaby, we have two and an incredible Mariana, who are always making sure everyone gets their photo, their framing, and returns happy from the trip. I could spend days telling all the incredible anecdotes that have happened to us on all the trips, but instead, I invite you to join a workshop and enjoy the experience of being Top Mexico. We have crossed borders, today many members are even winning photography contests, exhibiting in books and galleries. I celebrate the achievement of our 3 incredible teachers and friends from Top Mexico and I look forward to everything they will be offering us in 2023.

This is my third workshop with Top Mexico and because of their professionalism and dedication, it has always been my first choice for photography workshops. The workshop in Sisal seemed extraordinary to me, from the locations, the logistics of the trip, and the camaraderie among the participants; it made me feel as if I were among friends of many years. My beginnings in photography were hand in hand with TopMexico. Photography always demands us to be more dynamic so you can experiment and grow in it, and I found that in the workshops, in my photography teachers, and other peers and workshop friends. Starting with my first workshop which was Los Cabos in February 2021, traveling through a large part of Mexico and passing through Africa and Iceland finally, with a total of 18 workshops by the end of 2022, I feel widely satisfied. Very happy with everything I've lived, with each enriching experience in every aspect. In the healthy coexistence of the workshops, surrounding myself with people interested in the same thing I like and eager to share what they know. From the first day of the workshop, the 'Misses'—as we affectionately call them—have been a source of inspiration, always glad to contribute what they know and giving their best. I am always left with the image of @gabyrocha6 inspiring me in compositions, with @gabrielagonzalezvazquez explaining how to better achieve focus on a milky way where in my desperation I consider it lost, and a @mariana_rodba teaching me how to do focus stacking. You can always learn much more and I am already ready for the next round in 2023 😉

There are moments, people, and experiences that remain, transcend, and mark you for life. The 'Between whales and stars' trip represents a before and after for me on a personal and professional level. Every time I review our photos and remember what we lived, I fill with life and smile. Capturing the beautiful landscapes and wildlife of La Paz and Los Cabos has been like a dream; and more so because it has been alongside an incredible group of people. What a joy to be part of this adventure and learn in the process. Definitely, the commitment, atmosphere, and attention stand out in this team of talented photographers. In these lines, I want to express my gratitude to TOP MEXICO, Gaby Rocha, Gabriela González, and Mariana Rodba for the endless photographic spots, learning, and so many smiles on the several trips I have taken with them. My 1st trip MERIDA 2021 where I will never forget Celestún that sunrise full of flamingos!! Izamal magical town and some generous sunsets. 2nd trip.- DURANGO, 2021 what a surprise the variety of nature, waterfalls, the huge trees and their roots in Nombre de Dios, the Milky Way shots in the Jardín de Piedra, the organization was wonderful, new companions who became friends, and many smiles. After these two beautiful experiences, so well organized and with such dedication, I was encouraged to go for a great destination. 3rd trip.- NAMIBIA 2022 16 surprising days surrounded by elephants, giraffes, rhinos, hippos, and also famous tribes like the Herero and the Himba, whom we photographed captivated by their beauty. 4th trip.- ICELAND 2023 two weeks of stories from an incredible destination, mountains, Geysers, lagoons, cliffs, beaches, waterfalls, canyons, and also hiking on a glacier!!!! 5th trip.- BIOSPHERE RESERVE AND HIERVE EL AGUA, a protected natural area, where we lived sunsets enjoying the milky way, and wonderful sunrises, surrounded by huge cacti. So much wonder!!!! THANK YOU to TOP MEXICO, for taking me with so much enthusiasm and affection on these great trips that have made me a better photographer and person.
